H.4.0.S — Restaurant in Warsaw

If you're a gamer and fancy a cool place to hang out, THIS IS THE ONE! Absolutely blown away with our visit here, the aesthetic, the friendliness, the drinks, the food, the pricing, everything!

To summarise our visit (We popped over in an evening from the UK), Upon walking in, there is an amazing neon lit stairwell which the Mrs loved and instantly wanted a photo, once we had taken a couple, the receptionist/owner? (Sorry dude, i totally forgot your name!) took the time to explain who they are, and what they provide, and asked us if we would like to come and be a part of the fun. The bar area is also super unique, with plenty of seating, board games, a designated vaping area, lots of snacks, cool cocktails and mixers with relevant names (drink servings so generous that they remind you that god mode isn't enabled in these premises ;)

Being a foreign person in a place like this could sometimes be a little nerve wracking, this certainly wasn't the case, it felt more like a unity of like minded individuals, everybody was extremely friendly and welcoming.

I then moved over to the RETRO arcade, wooooow... they basically had my childhood on multiple consoles and screens, ranging from Sonic the Hedgehog on MegaDrive, to DuckHunt on NES. I met a young lad (im in my late 30's) who insisted on giving me a "whooping" on Tekken, I did manage to hold my own though!

We then rented a couple of PC's to play some FPS games, this place is so good that they even credited the download time for setting up our game, unreal!

We were also encouraged to snack whilst gaming so we had chips and nachos, nice touch!

If we ever return to Warsaw, this is definitely a place that we intend to return to, and maybe spend a few more evenings at.

Plusy: Klimat, wystrój, ceny. Przede wszystkim podobały mi się toalety (drzwi od starych wind, nietuzinkowy pomysł) i neony na wejściu. Ceny, dlatego że w dobie "fajnych" miejsc z drinkami czy shotami kolorowymi podaje się zazwyczaj 5ml wódki reszta soczek, a tutaj jest wszystkie napisane ile czego jest. Minusy: przy rezerwacji nie zapytano nas jaki stolik, ani gdzie, tylko na ile osób, więc jak przyszliśmy, to się okazało że mamy stolik w... Przestrzeni gdzie można palić, co było dla nas bardzo nieprzyjemne. Na dodatek stolik cały smierdział alkoholem i musiałem prosić żeby przetarli go bo były plamy po alkoholach. Ale spokojnie, to dopiero był początek nieprzyjemności. Stolik był w samym rogu, z 4 krzesłami, ogólnej wielkości bardziej do Uno, niż do planszówki (chociaż rezerwując wyraźnie partnerka zapowiedziała grę w Heroes 3 planszowe, które jest DUŻE), stoliki obok siebie upchane, jak w mikrokawalerce i duchota + smród podgrzewanego tytoniu. Byliśmy poinformowani, że jest to idealne miejsce na gry w planszówki... Yyy no raczej nie, odradzam - po połowie godziny (ok. 19) zrobiło się tak dużo osób, że nie dało się skomunikować, siedząc obok siebie, do tego kiepska muzyka, naprawdę ani to do planszówek ani do baru, bardziej do kiepskiego klubu (gusta gustami, Polski trap, ale taki najniższy sort, ewentualnie muzyka rozrywkowa z USA, ale to też niezbyt wyszukana). Dodatkowo nasz stolik był w takim miejscu, że musiałem ciągle podawać ludziom planszówki bo moja lokalizacja blokowała im drogę.

Ogólnie daję 1 gwiazdkę, ponieważ jest przeważająco więcej minusów niż plusów, obsługa na 1 - rezerwacje możnaby poprawić, przetrzeć ten stół przed tym jak rezerwacja przyjdzie. Klimat na 2 - był w porządku aż do końca schodów od wejścia na górę, potem jest bajzel, tłok i smród podgrzewanego tytoniu. Do alkoholu się nie czepiam, bo to bar, ale naprawdę możnaby powiedzieć ludziom, którzy palą żeby sobie wychodzili, bo śmierdzi to jak palony plastik, szczególnie gdy trafi się (jak nam) ktoś kto pali jednego za drugim...

Polecam jeżeli ktoś nie ma co robić w życiu i chodzi tam grać zamiast sobie kupić komputer. Ale to i tak, weź sobie słuchawki, bo z tą muzyką wyjdziesz z siebie prędzej, niż wygrasz...

This place was phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with amazing energy and gave us a quick tour of the bar and the gaming stations. Such a great start. Even though it was a busy time, we managed to share a table with another group, had some drinks, and ended up playing board games together. We actually made new friends there!

The atmosphere is incredible, super fun, welcoming, and full of good energy. They have an impressive selection of board games and gaming stations for every taste. Honestly, one of the best gaming bars I’ve been to. Can’t wait...
