Reforma Urban — Restaurant in Warsaw

Bad experience and a potential health hazard. Avoid at all cost!!!!!

On the 24th of August me and my friend went to the restaurant. I order the steak and he order a burger. After that we both had a cheesecake.

The food had a nice taste and we were generally satisfied with what we ate.

The day after we got an extremely nasty case of a food poisoning. As of writing this review, I am in such excruciating pain that I can’t leave the bed and can’t sleep due to the pain.

I think there is an issue with the way this restaurant stores its meat. It’s extremely unlikely for 2 people to get food poisoning from eating 2 different types of meat.

Don’t be fooled by the nice location, fancy marketing and the occasional gold digger that eats there, this place is a health hazard.

P.S. I believe this is the first negative review I ever wrote in my life, just imagine how bad the poisoning is...

We visited Reforma Urban for restaurant week, and we had the following menu:

Starter: Kataifi battered tiger prawn / avocado jelly / spicy aioli / kale crisp / parmesan crisp

Main course: Pork tenderloin / chanterelle sauce / celeriac puree / glazed beetroot / mini carrots / bimi broccoli / sauce

Dessert: Pumpkin cheesecake with burnt caramel

At first when we arrived they told us there was no table. They eventually managed to get a table for the two of us. I ordered beef tartar and pasta with shrimps. I asked for the recommended drink, got vodka for the tartare and told that I should have a Sauvignon blanc for the main course. The tartare was at the most ok, tha meet was greyish and okay taste. The vodka was not the fit for the meal. For the Maine course I did not even got a drink, so I had water. The pasta was better than the starter, but not great. It was difficult to get the waiters attention for questions...
