“At PKO Bank Polski, Your Time Means Nothing”
Today, I had one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had at a bank — at PKO Bank Polski, Rotunda branch.
I took a number — A153 — and saw that there were 32 people ahead of me. Reasonable, I thought. I could wait a bit. But what followed was absolutely outrageous:
I ended up waiting for an hour and a half. Yes — 90 minutes. Just to speak to someone at the counter.
Around me, people were visibly frustrated. Some left in anger, others sat in silence, exhausted by the wait. The queue barely moved. And worst of all? The staff seemed completely indifferent. Some desks sat empty. Others worked at a snail’s pace. There was no apology, no explanation, no sign that they cared.
This isn’t just about me. It’s about every customer who’s ever been treated this way. • Our time is valuable — and it’s being wasted without a second thought. • We are the reason this bank exists. We deserve to be treated with basic respect. • This level of service is unacceptable. Full stop.
I’m not just sharing this to vent — I want change.
If you’ve ever had a similar experience, please speak up. Share your story. Let the bank know this isn’t okay. We all deserve better — and it starts with holding institutions accountable when they fail us like this.

Read morePKO BP customer service is an unmitigated disaster.
I have been a customer of the Oddział 9 in Warsaw for more than 50 years. Yes, more than 50 years.
I live overseas, and recently PKO BP SA made it impossible to access my account. I used to receive email notifications about transaction posted to my account, but no more (I understand that this was not the Oddział 9, but corporate decision).
The only solution PKO BP SA can think of is that I fly to Warsaw (24 hours trip OW), present myself in person at the Bank, and set up a mobile application iPKO, that would require an archaic card with numbers to scratch each time I log in to conduct business. Than after scratching these 50 numbers I'd presumably need to fly to Warsaw again to be issued a new scratch card.
That's how they treat customers of 50+ years...
Updated March 10, 2022: After posting my complaint here, I was promptly contacted by Mr. Roman Grzyb from Zespół Komunikacji w Social Media, who promised to take care of my problem. Indeed, today I regained access to my mailbox hosted on PKO BP server, and can again access my statements. I thus revised my initial grading. But to obtain an access to online services through iPKO, I still need to make a trip...
Read moreA spectacular new tourist attraction of a coffee bar. The second floor of the pko Rotunda is and elegant and modern Display of opulence. Big glass windows look upon Centrum and the Palace of culture. There is a variety of seating options from extremely strong but sinuous couches to seating pillows that are shaped like giant River Rocks. 3 stations for charging phones. Tables and benches for people to gather at. Extremely well train staff make perfect coffee drinks and hot teas that warm the soul. Deserts are no less extravagant in flavor. You'll see the little tart I had in the shape of the Rotunda. I plan on spending every day possible at this facility until it becomes popular because once people know about this the place will...
