Read moreAbsolutely appalling service — completely ruined our lunch plans. We were going exactly to this place from the airport , after reading many good reviews and literally craving for savoury brunch.
Three of us arrived at the entrance of the restaurant, ready to be seated. Just a second before us, a man in a wheelchair approached and kindly asked for assistance with the entrance — of course, we fully respected that and even gestured to the hostess that we were happy to wait while she helped him.
But the response we got was shocking: the waitress looked at us, clicked her tongue rudely (yes, clicked!) and barked at us to "wait" — with zero grace or professionalism.
Still, we would’ve waited without complaint… if we weren’t standing in the middle of a construction site. Right in front of the restaurant, workers were sawing into the pavement — dust, stone, and filth flying directly at us. It was deafening. It was disgusting, we are just after airport standing here in total dust. And through all of this, three staff members came and went, totally ignoring the fact that we were being choked in dirt, standing helplessly just inches from the door.
We have nothing against the man who needed help — he absolutely deserved attention and assistance. But what kind of hospitality prioritizes arbitrary "arrival order" by the second, instead of managing guests with basic decency and care?
All it would’ve taken was: “Ladies, feel free to step inside while we assist the gentleman.” Simple. Human. Professional.
Instead, we were treated with disdain and left in the dust...
Read moreGood place for breakfast/brunch. Simple, good well prepared food with unremarkable ambiance and service staff with need of training. The queue outside is being created by lack of know how to managed door by service staff ( thats the optimistic version) or purposely creating perception of high demand that has nothing to do with actual occupancy. I had to wait for 20 min for a table ( was going through Warsaw and only had 6h to sightsee) it would have been fine if there actually wouldn't be space in the restaurant but that wasn't the case. Man that was in front of me in line got seated 5 min before me, to my surprise I was sat at the same table as him that at the time had about 8 free seats and there was about 3 tables free at the back so with couples sitting at tablesfor 4 and 6 this place was running at about 60% capacity. So there was no need for waisted 20 minutes of my limited time. 4 waiting staff where running like headless chickens while each was responsible for about 8 people. Kitchen was so tiny I was astonished that it was a restaurant kitchen but than again popping few slices of smoked salmon on bagel is not rocket science. Bagels where amazing really nice crust and just the right chewyness. Overall if my mobile wouldn't died whiles queuing and I wasn't in desperate need of charging and I would know where else to go for breakfast I would not decide to stay as there is no eggs worth waiting 20 min for unless they will have...
