I had the most delightful experience at Sol y Sombra Tapas Bar! From the moment I walked in, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made me feel incredibly welcome. Their genuine hospitality truly sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience.
One highlight was the Estrella beer served fresh from the tap, perfectly complemented by the savory olives that were presented as a delightful snack. The attention to detail in providing a complete sensory experience was impressive. As I perused the menu, I was overwhelmed by the vast array of Spanish dishes, each dish exuding an enticing aroma that instantly transported me to the heart of Spain.

Read moreThis place is magical. I almost don't want to write about it so that my wife and I can continue to manage to get a table. They have this guy that comes and plays music there once a week in the evenings and he's absolutely incredible. If he spoke English I would have asked him to come play the music at our wedding.
We get the Lamb Chops and it's all you need to get there. They're consistently incredible. Like usually if you order the same thing at a place the vary based on who's cooking that night or whatever. We've gotten about 6 orders of lamb chops in total now and they're always outstanding. Great atmosphere, the owner has a laptop setup next to the bar and talks to people. He goes around meeting everyone that he hasn't seen before. He doesn't speak English, but it doesn't matter.
This is one of the places that you'd only learn about by being a resident here. If you're a tourist, surprise everyone by making a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night and you'll have the time of your lives. Just ask them if the little spanish guitar guy is playing and choose the...
Read moreNo English menu....plus rude service
We had been to this restaurant ar least 10 times and today suddenly they said they don’t offer English menu anymore. So they gave us their menu in Spanish and polish, we politely asked the waitress to double check whether there is English menu because we had it before, she replied rudely, saying ”no! Because our boss is Spanish and here is Poland so we don’t offer English menu here....”
Therefore we asked her to translate, she did in a really fast way showing no respect to the listeners, there was only two tables occupied at that time so I’m sure she was not as busy as she acted.... we felt very unwelcomed during the ordering process not because there is not English menu anymore but how she treats people who don’t speak Polish or Spanish in their restaurant. We love the food but unfortunately being treated this way makes us not willing to step into this...
