I totally understand the constrains of being able to provide authentic Indian food due to ingredients and what not, but this was really horrible taste. I ordered a Prawn Briyani and Chicken vindaloo of which the chicken vindaloo was a recommendation by the staff. The Prawn briyani was not the worst tasting but could be better and the rice had a little flavour. Chicken Vindaloo was plain tasteless, just in dark red color but didn’t taste anything. The chicken was kept frozen for a long period I would guess as the texture was very chewy and unbearable. I’m not sure if the recommended dish could be that bad of a taste or just someone trying to sell off more of what’s kept in stock rather. Not a shop I would recommend. Other better Indian restaurants in the Warsaw to try.
Update, respond to owner: Not sure if you got the right customer, however your comment on my finishing both dishes is incorrect. I did however finished my prawn Briyani which I did note has some flavour to it but not the Chicken Vindaloo, that too it wasn’t 2 pieces it was at the least 5/6 pieces was left. And I’m not here to plain outright condemn a shop if there’s good things to say about it. Appreciate that as a shop owner you do understand everyone has their own taste, so if you are happy with your other customers providing positive reviews then also have the same attitude towards receiving feedback. N I’ve tasted boiled and also frozen chicken to know the difference. But good luck thinking you should only get good reviews for the...
Read moreMy wife and I went for lunch here. The restaurant has nice decor including a children's play area which was in heavy use with several young children really enjoying it. Not something one often comes across so worthy of mention. The food was good- we eat frequently at Indian restaurants, mostly in UK but elsewhere too, and this was one of the better ones. The onion bhaji and chicken samosas were large portions, come with tamarind and mint yogurt sauces and were wonderful. The mains were also good, the rice and nan were fine. The melon and blueberry lhasi was amazing (first time I've seen it, had to try, they had usual mango, sweet, salt and several others, this one was light, tasted excellent, one of best I've ever had) And just to help the service was really good, attentive but not in your face. Not rushed to leave at end, friendly, polite. One of the few times in Poland I've really felt a good tip was deserved. I would say the food is not very fast to come out. But that's because it is being cooked individually- and one can really tell when...
