Restaurant waiter said in Europe they don't allow to use water from your own as they will bear loss if customers won't buy water from restaurants ! Food was okay, we ordered chicken tikka, portion and quality was good, however rogon josh gravy needs improvement. Moreover waiter is saying that he is the owner and doesn't care about the food quality, saniped (he owns the saniped 😂) and customer needs ! One of the worst restaurants in Poland, especially because of lack of customer service!

Staff were friendly, food was quite tasty. Curry doesn't have to be complicated or heavily garnished, it should just be simple, tasty and filling. I don't need my paneer curry to have garnish and chunks of things that don't need to be there. The toilets here although very clean had movement sensitive lights, so if you are still for a couple minutes the lights in the toilet turn off. Not a great idea. Other than that everything was fine

I was not expecting to find such amazing indian food in Zielona Góra! So far one of the best I have ever eaten. The place has an amazing ambience and decor, the food is fantastic and the portions very big. I was particularly impressed by the chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala and garlic naan bread. Service was flawless as well. I would highly recommend it and I hope to be back soon!

My partner and I went on a short trip to visit Zielona Gora on 19. & 20.08.2023. On 19th of August we decided to have dinner at Tadz Mahal, because we had a craving for Indian food and the reviews seemed to be promising (beware of the crazy amount of 5-star-reviews, that is very unusual if you look at the number of reviews of other restaurants in Zielona Gora that have been around for a similar number of years!). We arrived there shortly after19:30 (we did not have a reservation, but there were many free tables outside and inside to choose from). For a Saturday evening, it didn't look busy at all and we chose to sit outside (the area doesn't look very inviting, but the restaurant is making the best of it with flowers and typical Indian deco. It's ok, but rather standard / something you can expect from an Indian restaurant in Europe). The waitress came after a while and brought us two menus in Polish. This wasn't a problem, although I don't speak Polish that well. My partner just helped me translate to English in case I had questions. We chose the starters and drinks first, once the waitress showed up again (that was around 19:45), and ordered one Onion Bhaji and one Paneer Pakora, alongside two Czech beers. Everything was noted by the waitress and my partner told her in Polish that we need some more time to decide about the main course. The waitress told my partner that she will be back in some minutes to pick up our order of the main dishes. The beers arrived quickly. While we were sipping on our beers, talking and waiting for our starters to arrive, my partner suddenly mentioned that the waitress just passed us and left in her private clothes (remember we were sitting outside, so we clearly could see the waitress is leaving). She didn't even look at us but rather only minded her own (then private) business. We checked the time and it was point 20:00 (that rang a bell, her shift was over and she couldn't get out of there quick enough). Well, we thought it will be fine and she passed along the order of the starters, but also let the other employees know that we are still about to order the main course dishes. Some time later (it didn't take too long) another waitress (or more probable a lady working in the kitchen) arrived with the starters. My partner told her in Polish that we still want to order the main course dishes. The person who brought the starters then just collected the menus without replying anything to us, nor taking our order of the main course, and left. No one else came afterwards to pick up the order. No one simply gave a sh** about us anymore. After the other woman left with the menu cards and without picking up the order, we realised that the starters we were given were 50% not what we ordered. We got the Onion Bhaji (what we ordered) and we got Chicken Pakora (what we didn't order). We told ourselves "fine, ok. It's not a big drama" and ate the starters. But another 30 mins later, still no one showed up to pick up our order for the main dishes. Therefore we decided to leave this uninviting place and have our main dish somewhere else. Since no one showed up for some more minutes, my partner had to go to the counter inside to pay for the startes and beers.

Long story short: we experienced a very bad service with wrong dish delivered, a waitress fleeing her job without informing anyone about us still wanting to order, and very inattentive employees in general. The starters we had also didn't really make up for the whole experience, as they were not above average.

It definitely was the low point of our short trip that weekend.

But we were very much welcomed and our evening was saved at Ohy-Ahy restaurant in Zielona Gora (that review is...

Gorąco polecam tę kulinarną wycieczkę do Indii 🥰🤗🥳💃. Pozdrawiamy całą...

Witajcie, wczoraj odwiedziliśmy Taj Mahal. Zamówiliśmy starter, trzy dania, ryż i naany. Zamiast pysznej i pikantnej smażonej siekanej cebuli zaserwowano nam krążki cebulowe w panierce z ciasta naleśnikowego. Danie bardziej do KFC niż do kuchni indyjskiej. Całość bez smaku, nic wspólnego z oryginałem. No i dania główne.
