Absolutely Unacceptable Behavior from Management

We gave our name and number at the entrance to the host and waited to be called, he inquired for a table of 4 and himself opened the door for us and we were seated .But after we were seated, we were told to leave by the hostess because “others were waiting”.When we told them the host himself asked us to go in, the same host was called and he completely denied it and acted like we had just walked in on our own. It was clearly a mistake on their end — yet instead of owning up to it, the host and hostess blamed us and acted like we had seated ourselves. The manager did not have the courtesy to come and interrupt because he knew it was the staffs mistake. No apology, no accountability, just pure arrogance and rudeness.The way this was handled was completely unprofessional and frankly, insulting. This is how they treat their customers, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone for this outlet. A simple sorry would have made the situation lighter, but it was a very bad experience . I must mention that the employees in Pop Tate's Andheri East and west and Vile Parle East locations are really well-behaved, helpful, and professional; however, this was not the case at the Rcity Pop Tate's location. This needs to be looked into by the management. Poor...

I have been to Pop-tate's Mulund many times but this was first time in R-City, Ghatkopar.

Good part: -In Starters, we had Jalapeno Cheese Poppers which was good and Paneer Manchurian was okayish.

-In main course, we had Pizza which was worst (in my opinion) it was Maxican Vegetable or some name. Donot order pizza... however, double cheese looked okay.

We ordered Maxican Sizzler with tomato puree which was really good.

-Next order was of Mocktails: Garden Fresh Cooler which was really good (Best in my opinion). Strawberry mint Sparkle comes with carbonated water (personally I don't like soda) Fruit loop was good too

-What I really liked is they had mixed mint and corriender in water availabile for serving.

Now coming on to bad part: Paneer Manchurian I did not like portion size and also taste was not of Manchurian.

-They included SERVICE CHARGE in bill and refused to remove it showed us some silly reasons. We had paid bill (mistake on our part) so later manager told show me next time I'll reduce it from bill giving personal guarantee just for sake of it.

Guys do not accept Service fees at all.

I never knew that potate had become child friendly. It was later Christmas Eve i had done out with my family. I loved the kids menu, check the last page. I have added the items picture. There is a suprise toy for kids as well. It's not a place for friends to hangout anymore. This is an upgrade to family first now. Ambience is very good. Food is tasty as always i like the crackling menu. I ordered food that i wanted to try from long time. Good dinner experience. Service quality has improved and lastly the discount on bill using easy diner or dine out as i am the member of both these app. I enjoyed the music food and my kids too. Deserve 5 star. My table service was done my Mr Dilip. He is a good guy and does the best to keep customer happy. Last but not least while moving out they also gave a gift to my children. Very happy to see this gesture. I thank you all poptates team. Will be back soon. Edit 31st March after new year eve this was a second visit and service improve at lot.
