Great chicken, lively atmosphere and low key local food
I’ve been here many times for coffee, drinks while waiting for lunch, lunch and takeaway. Their specialty is grilled chicken. Comes with a salad and fries. If you’re in the mood for something meaty go for grilled pork or veal. If you want a solid local lunch with a fried egg on top get a bitoque. Price is reasonable and you won’t be cleaning out your walled in one sitting but you will go out feeling full and content.
Look out for their white board with daily specials. I love their stews. You have to get theirs around 12 and order before 12:30 otherwise you are out of luck. If you are unsure what the dishes mean the son of the owner in glasses speaks English. He will help you. Or consult your Google translate.

Still it was...

The total cost was €13.60. It is right next to the north city gate, about 7 minutes walk from the cathedral and...
