bentos.beach.garden — Restaurant in Ílhavo

We've been here twice, for brunch and dinner. Both times very good with small things they could improve. With dinner it was very busy and the service just couldn't manage. They really tried and most of them kept smiling! Professional advice: ask the new customers to wait for a couple of minutes extra so you can get organized and give yourselves a breather. The burgers were great! Also the desserts were good as promised by the guy in the service, he ate at least 1 dessert every day. The brunch was ok. They were still cleaning the tables from the night before. Eggs Benedict were good , just make sure the eggs are less cooked and it would be perfect.

The place is really cute and the servers are really nice and super friendly. The atmosphere is really nice and it is a super nice place to eat. The food however… it is not worth it. I went for brunch and we ordered the two bowls, a toast and a bagel. The bowls were okayish, but the toast and the bagel were not eatable. The guacamole in the bagel and in the toast tasted like a weird combination between vinegar/lemon that went bad. I felt so nauseous after the first bite. In the end we paid 44€ for two persons and we didn’t even eat the food. I basically overpaid for bad food but...

An expensive restaurant that sells many ready-made industrial products. You expect homemade dishes here, but that is deceiving. Unfortunately, the chef lacks personality.

The menu sounds very attractive and appealing, but what comes on the plate is unfortunately a disaster. Sadly, there is no knowledge of cooking.

The only plus is the restaurant's decor. It's a unique decor; you feel like you're in the jungle. The service is also friendly, and the manager makes an effort.
