My recent visit to La Bella Barra for a birthday celebration was a delightful experience. My girlfriend and I started with the garlic bread pizza, a great way to begin the meal. We then shared two pizzas, the Calabresa and the Cardinale. Both were generous in size and full of flavor. The toppings were fresh and delicious. The only minor critique I would offer is about the thickness of the dough. It was a bit too substantial for my taste, making it feel like we were eating more bread than pizza, which was especially noticeable with the garlic bread starter. I’ve been here twice now and it’s been good both times. Service was good, food was good and the view at sunset is awesome. I tried the salmon the first and lasagna and pizza the next visit. The pizza was good and we loved the bruschetta. We just flew here from Italy so we didn’t think the pizza would measure up but we really enjoyed it! Couple of glasses of vino verde and we were set! Such a delicious food and attentive staff.

We had gnocchi with burrata, lasagna and ravioli. I cannot even choose which one is better because the three of them are very, very tasty. (And the portions are generous😉)

The strawberry caipirinha and the dessert (tiramisu) are also veeeery good.

Sitting outside with the view of the sea in the background is amazing.
