GRILL BRASIL Restaurante — Restaurant in Albufeira

Worst food ever. There was somehow a reason why it was so empty when we came in the early evening when other restaurants were packed. But we still tried since the food fotos was quiet okay. We ordered the rump cap dish for 3 person, it was like 6 small pieces, 30% was fat for 49€. Single menue would have cost 15€. We felt kind of fooled since it was not much more than a single menue if we would have ordered it 3times. It came with rice, fries… and a little vinegear (made for 3 person, really?) Plus the „steak“ was not even grilled, it was fried with a grill pan. All in all very disappoiting since the waitrer was new and didnt know much about the food and couldnt explain us anything. We had a great meal. The portions were big and reasonably priced. We tried the Chicken, beer and pork skewers; they were all fantastic. We also had the fried chicken to start. The cocktails were exceptional and the draught beer was crisp. We would have stayed later into the night but unfortunately we had an early flight the following day.

The staff were very friendly and it’s clear that a lot of effort goes into this family run business.

Definitely one to put on you list if you’re around this area...

Excellent soups. My partner had the chicken broth, with lots of pieces of chicken and only a little pasta. It even included some bones, which gave it great flavour. I had the fish soup which was also well filled with lots of different pieces of different fish and even some shrimp. Best one I had so far in Portugal. In all an invitation to return and try the rest...
