4.5/5* The frango had an extra crispy skin which was beautifully golden. It is by far the best textured skin on a chicken we’ve ever encountered. The interior meat was juicy and tender, contrasting well with the crispy exterior. Again, the Frango was paired with a concentrated Piri-Piri oil, which had more of an olive oil and garlic taste to that of Ramires. The chilli was mild in spice and the smokiness was light in comparison with Ramires’ frango. The tomato salad and mixed salad offered a much needed, fresh component to the table, having a simple vinaigrette and topped with dried oregano. The bread and butter combination was perfect for soaking up all the oil on the plate and in the stomach. The olives were a beautiful palate cleanser/neutraliser and the chips were not so oily, intentionally, there to soak up the excess Piri-piri oil. Overall, we were very impressed with this Frango spread at Palladium, they effectively contribute to the notorious Frango town of Guia.

Amazing restaurant with fantastic food, great service, and a lovely atmosphere. We came here for dinner and started with the couvert, it was a decent size and really flavourful. Bread, cheese being our favourite, the sardine paste was a little strong for our liking. We then all went for the chicken, chips, and tomato salad and the lettuce salad. All were fantastic. So flavourful. The piri piri wasn't too hot but had loads of flavour. The chips were amazing, and the best we had in Guia. You can really taste the olive oil, which is soooo good. The drinks were good size and fairly priced. The staff were really friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and a restaurant I'd be happy to go to again!

We heard that Guia has the best chicken piri piri in Algarve or maybe in the whole Portugal. There are several choices of piri piri restaurants but we ended up choosing Paladium for the chicken experience. It's a cozy place with own parking for the guests. Also it has a terrace so we could take our dog with us. People here were eating mostly chicken piri piri. We had some feta salad and the chicken. Chicken was really tasty and juicy. Mild tingling taste of chili is addictive and we ate every last bit to the bones. Staff was very friendly and even our dog got a special treat. We all left with a smile on our face and bellies full.

After having come here countless times, I have genuinely never been disappointed; the chicken piri-piri for me is the best in Guia (in comparison to 8 other restaurants I’ve frequented in Guia) and the other dishes are also superb. Especially their salmon dish.

This continues upon ordering dessert. I have had the carob parfait, the chocolate mousse and the almond tart, which are all equally as well made and presented, and as tasty as one another. But the star of the show is the apple crumble, which, not to overstate, is a contender for one of the best things I have ever eaten.

But what really makes the restaurant what it is, is the staff. Friendly enough to share a laugh with, multilingual and attentive to the customers’ orders. Plus the port at the end gilds the night with a little extra gold.

The place is a hidden gem. I recommend completely....

I chose this restaurant based on Google reviews. "amazing service", "family restaurant", "they proud of their service", etc. But these all lies, lol, I learned it a hard way. Don’t trust these positive reviews, the service is awful, we were waiting 30(!) minutes for starters (cheese, bread and olives) and drinks/water. And another 20-30 minutes for main course. All this time stuff comply ignored us, I even have to go to the car to get water for the kid. This was probably the slowest service I ever had. The food was partially good (chicken) and partially bad (fish). One thing Google reviews didn’t lie about was parking, yes there’s convenient parking for the clients, but this is the only positive thing about this place. Definitely do...
