Wild & Co — Restaurant in Albufeira

I've been there a few times. I like the bar and the ambience. It's what I've looking for. I love to drink something while I'm listening to a live band. I think it's the only place here in Albufeira where they have live music. So, for that part I have nothing to complain. The only thing I would like to say is about the service. Last night I've been there since 3am to 4, when they closed. During my way coming back home I realised that I didn't have a little metallic box which I use to keep my rolling cigarettes (sorry but I don't know the name of that thing in English). I sent a message to the Instagram account to ask about and they answered that they were still someone at the bar so maybe I could come back to ask. But when I arrived, 10 min After they've closed, nobody helped me. I've been in front of the door for at least 20 minutes, trying to call the attention of someone who was inside working on the closure. I can understand that the bar was already closed so they weren't able to open it for me. But I just wanted to talk with them to explain that I've forgotten something inside and I wanted to get it back. I think when they saw me at the door they thought I was trying to get the last drink of the night and that's why they didn't come to talk to me. I'm not gonna complain about that because I've worked as a barman too and I know sometimes drunk people come after closing to try to get something to drink when every bar it's closed. So I'm not gonna complain about that. But, after 20 minutes that I've been there waiting, two guys came to talk to me behind the door. I tried to tell them why I was there but they didn't open the door to talk properly. So I had to write it on my phone "I've been here this night and I think I forgot something inside. Please, can you check it?" They said they didn't found anything lost inside. My complaint about this is the fact that they didn't open the door to talk properly. Like, I had to write what I was saying on my phone instead of opening the door to talk. I think I wasn't asking for something ridiculous, just to open the door to explain them properly and to talk each other. So, for that part, I think the treatment I got wasn't good from them. I didn't want to annoy them while they were finishing their work. What I just wanted is to talk and to tell them that this night I forgot something inside and I wanted to recover it. Even if I didn't loose it there or someone has already found it, I think they should open the door just to talk properly with me. Because, behind a glass is not possible to have a conversation. I really think that they should opened the door just to listen to me properly, even if finally my stuff wasn't inside the bar. As I said, I like this bar because of the music and the smby, but I'm disappointed with the way they treated me tonight. I've been working as a barman for two years and I've never act like they did tonight. If someone comes after closing the bar because he forgot something inside, I would always try to find it and to talk with him. That's why I set 2 Stars for the service. I hope this comment would mean something and they think about it so they can improve...

The place and atmosphere is very great as its overlooking towards the strip and the beachfront. My husband ordered their T-bone steak (medium rare) with their chimichurri sauce and fries, while I ordered their vegetable soup/bread and mixed salad. The steak was quite bland even with the soup (according to my husband), that's okay as we didnt know until we have tried it. The fries however, even from across the table from me didnt look good.. it looks like a the fries was cooked way earlier and been reheated when served to us. The soup was very salty and when I tried to have the bread with it hoping to dilute the saltiness of the soup, it didnt work as the bread itself was very salty. The staff was very accommodating when we just arrived, but when we asked for the bill, they have the 'Tip', highlighted (made me chuckle), and maybe they're English is not very good - maybe? But while hubby was using his card, the staff said 'why no tip'... errrr... oookay. Then the lady at the entrance asked if the food is very good, my hubby responded, 'yeah its okay'.. she harrumphed and rolled her eyes and turned around to huff. Really? Even if the food is not that good if the service is excellent, I would go back to that place again... but when the food is not that good and the service is also not that...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Wild & Co in Albufeira, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home the moment we walked in. The service was impressively quick, yet this in no way compromised the quality of the food.

I ordered the Seabass Fillet, which was cooked to perfection and served with steamed rice and a side of fresh vegetables. The flavors were simply delicious and the presentation was top-notch. The portion sizes were generous, and the price was very reasonable—our group of two adults and two kids enjoyed a full meal for less than €90, which is fantastic value for the quality.

The only thing worth noting is that access to the restaurant involves climbing a considerable number of stairs. While this wasn't an issue for us, it’s something to keep in mind for those who might have mobility challenges.
