Wander Inn — Restaurant in Albufeira

We dine regularly at the Wander Inn and we find the food is consistently delicious. During our long stays in Albufeira we have the traditional Sunday roast each week and go for a lunch each week. It is always an enjoyable experience sitting out on the patio in the sun, friendly staff such as Velma with her million dollar smile and of course the great food. Our lunchtime favourites are the chicken pie, beef pie and the to die for fish and chips (always fresh cut chips)

2025 update: As in previous winters, we have been going to the Sunday roast (beef) at the Wander Inn each week. We always enjoy the food, service and location. This year some new features have been included; starters of a salad, olives and fresh bread. A very nice addition! The meal itself has maintained its high standards of previous years. The meal is served by Velma always with her welcoming beautiful smile. Masu, the new owner, is a very friendly and welcoming host. We walked past earlier in the day on our first day in Albufeira and decided to go back there for an evening meal, we were certainly not disappointed. The service and the food was absolutely first class. We had the mid week roast dinner 1 beef and one chicken. They were delicious. The owner is a lovely welcoming man well done to both him and his staff we WILL be back. We did go back another twice for the Friday Fish and chips the fish could hardly fit on the plate. My wife had to accept defeat as she couldn’t eat it all. Back again for the Sunday Roast. It was the same as the mid-week roast and again couldn’t fault the food or service Masu and Dasani were very good checking all was ok. We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Wander Inn during our holiday in Albufeira. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome — friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do.

The food was outstanding! Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re looking for something traditional or more international, there's something for everyone on the menu. Even our kids were impressed — which is saying something!

It’s a lovely spot for families, with a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We ended up coming back more than once during our stay because it was just that good.
