I do not recommend this place for dinner!!!

I went for dinner and I did not ask for the couvert, but of course they brought it. I could have eaten and not paid for it, but....whatever. typical in Portugal, you're not the only one.

About the couvert: it was perfect clear that the cup of octopus salad came out directly from the freeze when it has been for more than 2 day. The octopus was completely dry and taste like fridge was completely

1 soup - It was a baby portion sprinkle with parsley that they don't even bother to wash it before sprinkle the soup. Besides the soup was stone cold.

2 Terra e Mar Tropical that costs if I'm not mistaken €46 for 2 people. It came out to the table once again stone cold and the tropical fruit was 1 grape, 2 slices of white kiwi, 1 slice of a dragon fruit, couple of watermelon cubes like 4. then they were two half slices of pineapple and half a banana. Besides dragon fruit all the rest I don't see the tropical in it. a couple of watermelon cubes and shrimps were together in a little plate. For 46 ou 49 euros I expected a lot but a lot more.

3 - Apple Crumple - It's inadmissible to serve a dessert priced at €9 and instead of a apple crumble they served an apple pie. Plus, the caramel dressing was not home made, it was from a jar, and they embellished the plate with 3 slices of mini apples that they even did not bother to peal it and they were raw. and not caramelised. I expected some more finesse for a 9€ dessert.

This is one of the worse restaurants I’ve ever been to. They ruined picanha - first time in my live I just left everything on the plate. When the waiter brought 2 plates we asked where is medium and where is medium rare, he had no idea. So after 15 seconds of him trying to look at it, we just took our plates. The meat was cold and I could hardly chew it. It was far from medium, just fried till well done. The food of our friends was also far from perfection. Only batata frita was ok. The waiters are extremely unprofessional. Looks like they never did this job before, never. They take away the plates with unfinished food without even asking, but leave empty bottles, glasses, cups and other leftovers on the table till the end. Everything was that bad, that if someone tells me these guys don’t actually work there, they just came in and decided to play waiters, I can easily believe that. It was cold inside. Only two heaters were on, when I asked to turn on one more, that was next to me, the answer was “it is broken”. Of course, and other 10 heaters around were probably broken as well - they just don’t care. Such a shame. How a place like that with such a high rating can let this happen?! Huge...

So we went there yesterday and first the problem was that nobody came over to serve us. I had to wave a few times with my hands, waited a long time until someone came over. There were two young waiters and they were not crazy busy. So we ordered a drink (pineapple and mint), and it was such a disappointment. It didn't taste like it had any pineapple, just like water with some mint inside, no ice. The waiter didn't clean the table that was super dirty and we never received a card. Then we just wanted to leave and pay. As we didn't have the card, we checked it on Zomato. Surprisingly the price was much higher, we paid 11 Euro for two watery drinks with mint (no alcohol). At this moment I regret that I didn't give the drink back immediately. We paid, complained (the waiter didn't apologize, she just ignored what we said). We love the Fonte de Telha beach and go there at least once a week but this place we will...
