Palms Dr. Bernard — Restaurant in Almada

The first time, after waiting 25 minutes for our margaritas, they told us they had forgotten our order. This last time, i ordered a vegan pizza that came without the hemp ricotta (the only ingredient that can justify the 12.5€ price point) so I called one of the waiters and asked about it, who basically told me I was wrong and that the pizza was supposed to be this way. I checked their menu and confirmed it was supposed to have the ricotta, called same waiter who then apologised and said they would check with the kitchen what had happened, and then never came back. When the bill came and they charged full price for said pizza, I raised the issue again, and they said they couldn't do anything because the initial waiter had finished their shift. I ended up paying full price for an incomplete item even though I had raised the issue three times.

Make sure whatever you order is complete and per the menu, don't make the same mistake I did. Damn good...

10 euro entrance, with a 5 euro drink ticket that will get you one glass of the cheapest super bock, or a small can of Redbull. Mohito is 11 euros and it's only ice, and you have to pay 2 extra euros to buy their mandatory cup.

The service is slow and looks tiered, and does not accept the drink ticket to cover the partial cost of the cocktail, and most of the time missing.

The speakers on the dance floor are not correctly configured making highs sound raspy, mids are muffled too far by resonating lows from the small area. Pont lasers pointed down and hit people's eyes, which is a health hazard. There is either so much smoke that people cough or none at all.

Overall, do not recommend this place, unless you want to be at the ocean shore, and even then, there are far better places. Cheaply built cashgrab.

Popped in for a cocktail after dinner. Service was shockingly slow. We was just about to leave without getting served then the server came. Ordered two mojitos at €10 each. Thought it was expensive but went with it. When the drinks turned up I was genuinely shocked! 7/8 of the glass was packed chopped ice. Just a couple of mouthfuls of liquid that’s it.
