When we entered the restaurant, we saw about 5 waiters hanging about. One of them nodded us in one of the empty tables direction. We ordered seafood cataplana, which was made from fresh fish, shellfish and crabs, the sauce was also really nice, but the portion was HUGE. It would have been enough for 3-4 people but the waiter insisted we (2) order the plate for two. The third in the company ordered a tenderloin steak, and the waiter did not ask for doneness, so when it arrived at the table we realised that is was well done.

So, once we got some couverts, the waiter brought used cutlery for the cataplana. When we pointed this out to him, he just smiled under his nose and without a word brought another set of DIRTY cutlery. At this point we considered leaving, but we were just too hungry to wait another 30 minutes at another place.

Once the foods arrived, we enjoyed them as best as we could. The steak was overdone and the insides of the shimps were not cleared so they still had poop in them.

While we were halfway through the meal, the waiter started to hover the table, but not once asking if we needed anything or if anything was fine. After 5 seconds of me putting down the fork and knife, he immediately took the plates and ran away with them and upon request he gave us the bill, which he did not take the payment for.

Overall a huge disappointment, as the restaurant is right on the beach, with a fantastic ocean view, with actually decent and really fresh dishes, but the service just killed it for us.

Would not recommend to anyone until they step...

Terrible, disrespectful and unprofessional staff. Barbas ? O BaHa haha...what a JOKE! Its just a name,.stay away!

We were looking for caracois as it stated on the sandwhich board( special today caracois) we asked for a table and they brought us in knowing that we wanted to comsume just the special. The waitress asked us to wait a few minutes to finalize cleaning the table but the waiter attending other tables took us away from her and placed us in his section very rudly and abrupt. So we asked for the special and he told us that we had to order another dish in order to get the special because it was until 7 pm but unfortunately it was 7:01 pm... WOW To make the story short, he raised his voice, was angry at us, so we tried chocos fritos in order to obtain what we initially went in for, and that was the last time we saw him until we decided to ask for the bill. He ignored us the entire time, never asked us if we needed water, drinks (which glassess were empty) in conclusion, absolutely no customer service skills, no manners, and definitely not a Portuguese born...on top of it with tremendous unacceptable attitude... I do not understand how unskilled personnel can be allowed in this field and work with tourists. It blew my mind that the best service and kindness we received were in other places and restaurants that were not located in the touristic areas. Avoid...

We walked in without a reservation (3 people) shortly before 12. If you come after 13h, you might have to take a short waiting line.

With plenty of options, we got a table outside, with a sea view. We were lucky no smokers were there during our visiting time. Eventually, street vendors passed by, but were not too intruding. Otherwise, this table choice is perfect.

Me and my friend both decided to have the picanha, a steal cut, which was accompanied by fries, white rice, and black beans, as well as farofa. The meat was well done and perfect salting. As a brazilian, it was amazing.

Our other friend had the Robalinho, which she also said was perfect. It took about 30 minutes to have the plates ready from the opening lunchtime.

For drinks, I had the caipirinha and my friend a local beer, and later, we had a casal Garcia and Aveleda wine bottles. All were approved and recommended.

For desert, unfortunately, no vegan options were available for me, but my friend had a Pudin, which was slightly undercooked, but still good.

The service was amazing, and our waiter Henrique was a super helpful cute portuguese guy. I absolutely recommend...

While the food was amazing, the service could've been better... Last year, a friend of mine stopped by while on a business trip in Lisbon, and he absolutely loved everything about the place. He decided to bring me with him next time he stopped by and that he did. While the food and overall atmosphere really lived up to my expectations, our waiter this time around wasn't too great. He brought us more food than we ordered and charged us accordingly (although to be fair, we didn't protest his actions and ate everything extra he brought). He also wasn't as friendly as the other waiters around us, but that could also be because he didn't speak Portuguese very well (he was Spanish). Despite this, the service was still satisfactory, and the food was delicious. I especially recommend the "Lingeirao", which is some sort of crustacean that's just simply mouth-watering. I should also mention the prices, while higher than in most other locations in Portugal, are still great when considering that this is one of the only truly beachfront locations in Caparica.

The place was recommended by one of our friends. It is on other side of the city far from crowds and in front of ocean. The spot itself is amazing because you got the ocean with waves and relaxing sounds and this restaurant which serves delightful and delicious food. Very fresh and tasty. The service staff are amazing. They have years of serving people and know best how to treat their guests. You are welcomed with complimentary starter of fresh cheese, bread, butter and tuna. The house wines are super cool. We tried the green house wine and it was amazing. The seafood platter was great. Very fresh and delicious. It is served in both cold and warm parts so you enjoy all flavors. They prepare it also in good speed. Overall amazing and recommend it.
