We were here twice in a row because it was that good. Also, well-priced!
First time we got the alheira and lagartos which were dishes of the day.
Second time, we got lulinhas algarvia and arroz de pato, also dishes of the day. The lulinhas were also grilled to perfection, a pleasant texture and well seasoned with cilantro, garlic and olive oil. The arroz de pato was also a pleasant surprise. I was expecting rice with bits of duck and sausage cooked in the rice, but it was more like pato com arroz - a duck leg with rice and side salad. Very delicious. Everything tastes good, well-balanced flavours and nothing is over salted. Compliments to the chef!!
Being an adega, the house red was also very good. Great accompaniment to our delicious food. We were very well fed. Will definitely return when next in Beja.

I hope you take this feedback seriously to improve your quality and...

Desert was a freshly cooked sort of plum tart. Super sweet so great advice from the waiter to scale back to just one between two. Not that expensive but exceedingly good value. A must to visit. Thank...
