We arrived after the typical lunch hour to find a few people outside enjoying the afternoon sunshine. We chose to be inside because there was no place to hang outside. No problem. Inside it was nice and cozy. The ceiling is bare and kinda cool. How old are those crossbeams? It's been shimmed to stop the floor from creaking, like everywhere. Are those handmade nails? It screams nostalgia to me. Enough about the building's architecture, you're welcome. 🤗 Check it out though. Ok ok.
We enjoyed some mulled wine, as it's the season. Four thumbs up for that! Definitely recommend. We also ordered for a snack the tremoços. Never had them, admitted that up front and thought they were awesome. The staff was kind enough to tell us how to properly eat them, for which we were grateful.
The staff here are good people. Like really good.
We also ordered a couple of the club sandwiches with tortilla chips and aoli. Mine was terrific and the one my spouse ordered without the bread was just as enjoyable. She has wheat gluten allergies and suffered no consequences. Thank you!
They have a small food menu, but the brunch menu is different (our loss for arriving so late). We saw they also have a decent selection of teas. We will try to return to try the brunch, coffee and hopefully a couple of their many cocktails.

We tried the arepitas with guacamole, paired with a cold beer. The dish was comforting and flavorful, especially for those who haven’t had this kind of food in a while. The guacamole was fresh, nicely seasoned, and generous in portion, tucked inside warm, lightly crisped arepas. Simple, satisfying, and clearly made with care.
The setting is relaxed, service was friendly, and while we didn’t explore much beyond our plate and drink, it’s the kind of place you want to come back to. It feels like a small cultural corner — unpretentious, warm, and with good energy.
We can’t judge the full range of what they offer just yet, but based on this first visit, we’re happy to give it 4 out of 5. We’ll definitely return for a more...
