Caffé Italy — Restaurant in Braga

In the last 2 weeks we visited the Cafe Italy three times and every single time it was quite an experience.

I felt never so pampered, appreciated and welcomed like in this ristorante.

All started with the nice waiter helping us with the menu when we tried to figure out if we even would go there in the evening. But after the nice conversation we simply had to go there.

At the first night we had the canelloni and a arugula Salat with balsâmico chicken and onions. I never had such a tender chicken.

The second time when we're again warmly welcomed and the waiters even remembered us. We had spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti Bolognese. The pasta was on point, the sauce just perfectly seasoned and again we left with a cosy feeling.

Our third and last time was awesomeness again. Again the same meals as the last time, again perfect. We also tried the sangria and it was fruity and refreshing. The waiter was very nice and refilled our glasses when needed.

The whole staff is very mindful and friendly, quick with taking orders and faster serving them with a perfect temperature.

We can just recommend this ristorante and we will come back every time we'll...

We were quite disappointed with our experience at Caffe Italy in Braga. As we approached the terrace, a staff member acting like a promoter stopped us and handed us a menu, which felt a bit pushy. We chose to sit inside instead.

Unfortunately, the service was poor. The same server encouraged us to order more by bringing items to our table that we hadn’t even asked for. The overall attitude of the staff was indifferent — they barely acknowledged us throughout the meal. No one checked in on us, and when we returned our plates half full, not a single question was asked.

As for the food, it was below average. My pasta dish was not good at all, and my partner’s carbonara was far too salty. The quality was mediocre at best.

Overall, it felt like a tourist trap — average to poor food, and bad service. I do not...

The environment of this restaurant is nice with some Italian design styles. The music on the background was Andrea Bocelli. The staff are very polite and helpful! Regarding food I chose a pasta dish with salmon and shrimps. I must say that the pasta was very aldente and the taste very plane. The wine was Italian and very acidic for me, you can surely find a better Portuguese wine. The desert was Italian gelato and very nice!
