I was at this restaurant towards the beginning of February. Great atmosphere. The waiter were incredibly welcoming, and they were never bothersome, while not making us feel like the table was left out. The food was delicious. Starters are fantastic from start to finish (I was in the presence of 7 other people so we took multiple starters and we ate a bit from each order). The meals are traditional in the sense they follow the canon of Portugese cuisine, however the chefs make sure to put their personal spin on it, mostly through adding spices to both enhance the taste of the food plated, and bring flavors on the side. The wine was excellent and the waiter's recommendations made our night that much more beautiful. I will make sure to go here the next time...
Read moreYou have to eat here! We had the most wonderful dinner here - actually the BEST meal we had in 2 months of traveling around Portugal. The baked codfish with chickpea paste was to die for - so succulent & the flavours were unreal. The duck rice was equally as delicious- very comforting & a generous amount of meat. We finished with the softest tiramisu & a mango mousse that deserves a second serve. The staff were super lovely even though we turned up late on a busy night without reservation. I wish I could eat here...

Ordered octopus for 1 person (the portion was more than enough) and a sm bottle of wine-18.5 euros total. Octopus can be easily split for 2 people if not really hungry. Apparently they don’t take foreign CC so I suggest to have some cash on you.The only annoying part was a big party next to me, who had too much wine and were way too loud and disturbing other costumers but nothing the staff...
