The location is fabulous! It’s in the center of Braga and all the city landmarks. Everything (landmarks, stores, etc.) is about a 5-10 minute walk from the loft. Our room looked out onto a castle and its garden, down a quiet street. We were on the “first” floor which is really the second floor. In Portugal, the first floor is a non residential floor, so you always go one floor up. First is second, second is third, and so on. There are no elevators, so keep that in mind when you have to carry heavy luggage. The room looked like the floor model of IKEA. Very sleek, modern, and minimal. The room and bathroom were very spacious. There’s a big cabinet right at the entrance. When you open the drawers, you’ll see that’s there’s a mini dishwasher, mini stove, mini fridge and even a sink! They included utensils, dishes and washing supplies. The bathroom had a heated towel rack, which came in really handy. The only thing I wasn’t thrilled about was the shower knob. You have to turn the knob all the way to the left to get the hot water going, then you have to turn one millimeter at a time to adjust the water temperature. The knob is metal and has no grip! Once your hands are wet or soapy, you have zero grip and cannot turn the knob! I wish they’d put a rubber grip on it, so there would be some traction. Other than that, everything was perfection. Since this is the city center, there’s barely any street parking. There are a few parking garages nearby but there’s one that’s about a 1-2 minute walk from the lofts: Campo Da Vinha: Praça Conde de Agrolongo 83, 4700-295 Braga, Portugal. I suggest using a garage rather than parking far away since the cobble stone make it hard on the suitcases and...
Read moreAlmost didn’t want to write a review, as I wanted it to stay our little secret :) Everything about this place is incredible. My partner and I are OCD about cleanliness, but found this place to be amongst very few we have found spotless. One very unusual point we wanted to highlight, is that the insulation of the building is incredible. We did not need heating on during the night (normally insulation is so bad, a draft can be felt throughout the room) and so our stay was even more comfortable. Beautiful architecture, interiors and decor. Tastefully minimal and very spacious. We even stayed an extra night, we loved it so much :) We will most definitely stay here every time we come to Braga!!! Simply perfect! Thank you so much for your friendly hospitality Ana and we can’t wait to be back, hopefully in a...
Read moreWe stayed for 3 nights at end of Nov. Whilst it’s quite a difficult place to find, we were glad the lovely lady on reception came running out to get us, we must have looked confused, we were not disappointed with the accommodation 😁. |Fabulous room, very clean. Great amenities. And the location is perfect 👌. The only thing I found was the lack of mirrors. There was just one in the bathroom. It needs a second one in the main bedroom by a plug! Would definitely recommend this accommodation despite this. We...
