Not the best. It honestly felt like we were just being completely ignored non stop. When a waiter finally came over, and took our order, he confirmed everything on his little computer. Some time later food came, after we had joked that it was taking a fair while. As the waiter dropped off my salad, he mentioned the toastie was coming shortly….. it never came. I finished the meal, as did my partner, they removed plates… still no toasty. A waiter came to see if we wanted anything else, and we said, just the toastie that we were waiting on…. Another 15 minutes passes… still no toastie. I went in, and they tell me… madam you didn’t order one… so I explain I did and the waiter even confirmed twice. When the original waiter came over, he asked, how was the toastie. Clearly something went wrong in the kitchen.

My partner’s sandwich was ok. The salad was wasn’t the best.

Pongo una estrella porque la comida estaba buena, platos del día, pero el resto peor imposible, la camarera que nos tocó tenía pocas ganas y transmitía una gran sensación de que está harta de su trabajo.

Después pedimos melón y café, el melón llegó a los 25 minutos y nos dijo que tenían problemas dentro, entonces le dijimos que no tomaríamos café, que lo quitase (teníamos el día organizado).

Llega el momento en que pedimos la cuenta y con él todo malas caras y gestos feos de nuestra camarera y todo fue de mal en peor, no nos dio ticket, lo reclamé 4 veces, después de darme largas me dice que tenían estropeada la caja. Entré y ya no le quedó más remedio que comentárselo al jefe(que comía tranquilamente a pesar de todos los problemas que tenían dentro, incongruente). Viene el jefe y lo mismo, que no funciona la caja, le vuelvo a insistir en que quiero mi ticket aunque sea a boli y va y por arte de magia me lo saca de la caja de al lado(zona pastelería). Veo que me han cobrado el café y se lo digo a la camarera que se hizo la tonta en plan: ah no tomaron café? Venga ya. Le dice a la compañera que estaba en caja que me devolviese el dinero. Todo ello entre caras de estar insultando por dentro. Una vergüenza lo que tuve que aguantar por una cosa que es obligación suya, darme el ticket!. Porque no entiendo el idioma que sino le hubiese dicho cuatro cosas bien dichas. Por todo ello nos hicieron perder un montón de tiempo.

En resumen ni volveré ni lo recomendaré y para ti señora camarera, si no estás agusto con tu trabajo deja sitio a otra persona que hay muchas deseando hacer...

Discovered Ferreira Capa for lunch early on during my week in Braga, and returned several times for lunch, breakfast or just a coffee.

Close to the main town square, but just far enough away to be at a distance from the big crowds and pricier 'tourist trap' restaurants.

Good menu with a constantly-changing selection of very reasonably-priced lunchtime specials. Great service, and a lovely terrace to sit outside and enjoy...
