My recent experience at "Bar Filhos D'Mar" was deeply disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter. It's disheartening to express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated and the quality of the products I received.

One thing Madeira is famous for is its legendary Poncha. The best Poncha will always be found away from the center of Funchal and in the little fishing villages where it originated.

The bar is also known as the "original Poncha bar." I have no clue if that is true or just great self-promotion. But the Poncha here is spot on! They even have one that is unique to their bar and is a "secret" recipe, and it is very good.
