Cervejaria H'Ale Mary — Restaurant in Câmara de Lobos

Excellent bar. Had their own local beer which was delicious at 4e a bottle, along with around 5 various styled Portuguese craft beers on tap approximately 2e to 4e. The ham and cheese toasties were to die for at 2.8e each. Beer and food served with a few crisps. The staff were friendly and attentive. There was also an extensive range of bottled beers with an awesome Belgium selection. Some in the region of 8 to 10e but they are obviously imported so the price is to be expected. Cracking venue with good music which was not too loud....

Well, I finally made the trip to the "other" craft beer bar on the island...It was well worth it!

Came for the beers, stayed for the food. Was only going for a couple of pints, saw the tasty food brought out. Was hesitant of the chicken wrap (as always abroad), went for the Prego da casa (1€ more), house sandwich. And boy could I go more right! 🔥👊 Excellent steak sandwich with cheese an ham + chips, 6,50€. I higly recomend this taproom! Was worried it said closed on Sundays, but it was open never the less. Mayby because tomorrow is Independe day July 1 on...
