We chose this spot because of its rating. Cute little cobblestone plaza with a farmers market inside. It’s bustling, even loud, with cars passing and Portuguese lingering in your ears from the diaphragm of older men.

But it’s quiet, and charming too in the sips in between.

Ioanna took care of us. Helped me stumble through my Portuguese. Explained the process of making Guasacaca/Wasakaka. And the coffee was great, of course.

The empanadas, however, were the best I’ve ever had. Corn flour, minced beef, onion, freshly fried. I would add vulgar language in a different setting to emphasize just how good they were.

I had an amazing breakfast at this place! The omelette was cooked to perfection, and the fresh bread was the perfect complement. The flavors were spot on, and the whole meal was incredibly satisfying. What really stood out, though, was the excellent service from the waitress – she was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. And the best part? All of this for just 19.50! We were seated right away—no waiting at all. The place offers Wi-Fi, which was especially helpful since our roaming data was limited. Our child had space to run around on the terrace while we waited for our food, and we felt genuinely welcomed as a family.
