Terrible experience — rude manager and awful service

I had one of the worst dining experiences ever at this sushi restaurant. The service was absolutely unacceptable. The staff were inattentive and slow, but what truly shocked me was the behavior of the manager. Instead of trying to resolve the issue professionally, he was incredibly rude, arrogant, and dismissive. He made the whole situation worse with his attitude and complete lack of respect for the customers.

We had a very large group, with 2 options. Food was great, very tasty, and generous portions. A wonderful place for our party. They were not quite ready for bar service while we waited. A few people got left out and did not get their food until most of us were finishing eating, and we had to complain to get their attention. Remember to check that everyone got food! The service was friendly though the sushi was not genuine. Again the quality of oil and cooking sets a good Japanese apart. This suffered as a consequence. The sunomono salad was overly sweet for us.
