If you’re already on Boca do Inferno, continue walking along the coastal promenade to the Farol de Guia lighthouse. It was not directly accessible, but you’ll find more cliffs there, with a hidden staircase that leads you right down to the ocean. Look for the small path near Escola de Escalada da Guia – it’s easy to miss from the main road, but worth finding.
On the way, stop at Paladar da Guia restaurant, where you can treat yourself to a whole octopus for just €25. A perfect combo of great views, a scenic walk, and fantastic food!

The address were quite calm when we visited so the rushing current in the bowl was not very breathtaking but I could see how high tide with rough seas would make for excellent views.
