Dom Grelhas — Restaurant in Cascais

We visited Dom Grelhas as a party of 16 and had such a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were excellent — attentive, patient, and very accommodating with a group of our size. Everything was well-organised and they really helped make the evening run smoothly.

The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and rich flavours that everyone in our group enjoyed. It was clear a lot of care goes into the cooking, and the quality really stood out. Combined with the warm and friendly service, it made for a really memorable meal.

What made the evening even more special were the views. Sitting here with the spectacular scenery all around created the perfect backdrop for a great night with friends and family.

We all left happy and impressed, and I’d definitely recommend Dom Grelhas both for small groups and larger gatherings. A wonderful spot for great food, great service, and...

As soon as my friend and I sat down at the table, they brought us bread, butter and olives. We haven't had time to order anything yet, but we thought it was a compliment from the restaurant. But since we were not hungry, we did not try the snack. When the waitress noticed this, she immediately came over and asked if we were going to eat it, we said no. She abruptly took it off the table. But then this dish was added to our check, we didn't order or even taste it.

Be careful because it looks like a tourist scam to sell you something you didn't even ask for! I paid the bill, only then noticed it.

Asfor the dishes, I ordered lemonade, it was not good. A friend ordered grilled fish, the fish was oversalted. I do not recommend this place. For dinner by the ocean, there are much more comfortable and tastier...

Really nice restaurant with great views of the coastal waters. There is plenty of parking, but it is paid parking. If you have Via Verde, you may use parking there. Indoor and outdoor seating are available. I didn’t see any air conditioning, so it can get a bit warm indoors. Every table outside was covered with an umbrella. I ordered the Codfish Lagareiro and it was prepared wonderfully and plentiful. I would order it again in the future. My wife ordered the Octopus Lagareiro, and mentioned that her octopus was a bit chewy, and wouldn’t order it again. We shared and really enjoyed a jug of sparkling sangria. To end our meal, we shared the cheesecake passion fruit. It was amazing. Only downside is that their online menu prices don’t match the menu prices in person.
