A Truly Outstanding Experience – 5 Stars Without a Doubt!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at O Pescador in Altura, Algarve, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.

First and foremost, the customer service was second to none – warm, genuine, and incredibly attentive. I want to extend my heartfelt compliments to the lovely owners, Mrs Ana and Mr Batista, who clearly pour their heart and soul into this beautiful restaurant. Their dedication shines through in every detail.

A special thank you also goes to William, whose friendliness and professionalism made us feel so welcome. He, along with the rest of the team, was 100% kind, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile.

As for the food – simply outstanding! Everything we ordered was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Truly a five-star meal, no question about it.

If you’re in the Algarve and looking for authentic, top-quality food paired with wonderful service, O Pescador is an absolute must-visit.

Unfortunately a disappointment :/ Mediocre food - close to the sea but they still serve cultivated fish. The tomato soup was unfortunately sour and the rice in the fish soup was cooked separately. Unfriendly near to aggressive service that got even more stressed and overwhelmed during rush hour. Long waiting time. Plus point for the bread and cheese they serve as an entré! And for the location close to the beach. Easy to book a table the...

Sobald man mich betrügen will ist vorbei, sorry! hat es keinen Stern mehr verdient, leider muss ich einen geben. Essen war mittelmäßig. Bedienung eher unfreundlich und wenn man dann noch ohne kassenbon abkassiert und 30,10 € verlangt während man selbst nicht mal auf 25€ kommt, sprengt es leider jegliches Verständnis! Anschließend den kassenbon geordert, weil der Preis einfach nicht stimmen konnte. Ergebnis vom bon 27,80 und da stand dann auch noch Besteck 3,50€ drauf inklusive. War zwar der erste hier in Portugal wo wir das hatten, aber gut, lasse ich mir noch gefallen, aber dennoch hat er uns eben mal 3€ drauf getan und zusätzlich noch Trinkgeld ld genommen. Anschließend hat er uns dann 3€ zurück gegeben obwohl er sich schon vorher hat 2€ Trinkgeld hat geben lassen. Touristen Betrug vom feinsten.... Außer eine große Enttäuschung hat der Laden nichts bei mir hinterlassen.... Finger weg. Der Laden gegenüber hat bessere Qualität, ist freundlicher und vorallem ehrlich! Erste Restaurant der einfache Touristen abzogt. Danke für die schlechte Erfahrung! Mir im ganzen Leben noch nicht passiert! Finger weg! Gibt wirklich besseres! Und Tipp... Lasst euch...
