Mensa Restaurant — Restaurant in Figueira da Foz

Food tasted good. Compliments to the chef. However, for a restaurant with such fine design in taste and the price of the menu slightly higher than the average, would expect a better service than what both the waiter and waitress could serve up. The smile was lacking and it feels like we were not very welcomed. The service was curt though not rude. The waiter and waitress did their job of giving the menu, taking the order and serving it to the table. Would be nice, if they could asks of we enjoyed the meal, or described little about the food served or at least a small smile. Sad, but we didnt even bother with dessert or even coffee after having our starters and main courses. A nice atmosphere and a well design restaurant. If you are going for a good pasta, this is one of the place to go to but dont expect anything more than the food or the beautifully...

Enviroment: Confortable chairs, open and well spaced tables. Near the hotel pool, so it gives a nice Summer feel.

Service: Well meaning, but inexperienced. Ex: Forgot to ask for desert, didnt bring one of the plates exactly as ordered.

Food: Ordered Pizza, a Salad, Soup and a chicken plate. The pizza had a nice thin crust and well cooked, but lacking in ingredients (in quantity, not variety). The Salad was overflowing with Caesar Sauce and not particulaly tasty. The soup was good enough. The grilled chicken was generic.

The Restaurants atmosphere is really beautiful and I love the design concept. Most of the staff is very welcoming. Some are very unfriendly and badly trained or should not even work in service. At least try to smile from time to time.

The Food is ok. Not more. Too expensive for what it is. Its missing taste. The pizza is def disappointing and without taste.

Sangria is amazing. Cheesecake is really good. Unfortunately for us not worth...
