During our stay in Carvoeiro, we discovered an absolute gem of a pastry shop that quickly became a daily ritual for us. We couldn’t resist stopping by every morning to indulge in a couple of their delicious pastel de nata, which I believe are the best in town! The pastries were always fresh, perfectly flaky, and bursting with creamy custard flavor.

The shop’s friendly staff and use of high-quality, fresh ingredients really set it apart. They were welcoming and made each visit even more enjoyable. Beyond the pastries, their bread is incredible—light, airy, and with just the right amount of crust.

I moved along the counter to get their attention, and the one serving deliberately moved back to the opposite end of the counter. Very reluctantly she confirmed that she understood English and served me.

However good the products, I wouldn't go back. Such a contrast to the friendly, welcoming and helpful service I appreciated everywhere...
