My wife and I just arrived in Lagos, it was that in between time of 2:30-3:00pm not really lunch but not dinner either. So we walked from our accommodation around the corner and came across “Saporito” an Italian Cafe/Restaurant. We spoke to “Tauchi” at the door, she was welcoming & had friendly smile, we asked her were they still open for a late lunch. No problem she said yes of course inside or out? As it was hot inside in the AC was best option. The decor was bright and had that Italian Deli feel. Menu was full of Italian favourites all with a twist and reasonably priced too. We chose 3 items, the Bruschetta with tomato, basil and bocconcini/Rigatoni Pesto Pasta and the Warm Goats cheese with honey & walnuts. All were presented extremely well and packed with good authentic Italian flavour. After the meal owner/chef “Mirco” came to the table and spoke about his food, ingredients and his Italian heritage which was fascinating. I would highly recommend this Cafe for lunch, and I’m sure dinner would be equally as...

Saporito in Lagos is a culinary gem! From our first visit, we knew it was a going to be a beloved restaurant and we’ve since enjoyed several memorable meals here, including Sunday brunch, delicious lunches, breakfasts, and a “special event” dinner featuring beautifully paired wines.

At the heart of it all is Chef Mirco, whose Italian roots and passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients shine in every thoughtfully crafted, authentic dish. The magic also extends beyond the kitchen through Tati and Inna, who share their warm, welcoming energy that makes guests instantly feel at home.

Saporito delivers more than a meal… it’s a heartfelt celebration of great food, wine, and genuine connection. We enthusiastically recommend it and are already looking forward to our next visit. Bravo to Chef Mirco, Inna, Tati, and the entire team for creating such a delightful gathering...

My favorite go-to restaurant in Lagos for a quick bite or a long, relaxing meal. The food is fabulous and I typically go for the very modestly price dish of the day and ask Chef Mirco to recommend a delicious glass of wine. Plenty of choice here and it’s always good, especially when Mirco shares his knowledge. The waitstaff Inna and Tati are so warm and friendly they felt like dear friends on my first visit. And I’ve always been able to find easy parking nearby....
