Mooo Hamburgueria — Restaurant in Leiria

I had lunch here on a Saturday and dinner the next day on a Sunday. The hamburgers are really delicious. I had the Mooo Chefe burger for lunch with a jug of tropical sangria. For dinner I had the Cusco burger and a bottle of Portugal’s famous green wine for dinner. I had Sovaca da Cobra (Creme brûlée soup with lemon sorbet) for dessert. 🤩🤩 I was really impressed with the food, the presentation and the service during both visits. My server made several trips to the table to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. I love this! Good service. Great tasting burgers w/ homemade potato chips. Update 2023: Short staffed only 1 cook and 1 server. AC has been broken for months and we're now in the middle of Summer. Feels neglected, too hot and over 1h waiting for food. The restaurant was about 30% capacity and the costumers after us left with no meal. Hope to one day come back to new management that actually knows what they are doing.

Rustic place with great views and even greater food. Hamburgers are made in house and original and the appetizers are a must. Reservations are recommended since it fills...

Em curto, a empregada que nos atendeu foi rude, não se explicou bem, e cobrou-nos por algo sem o nosso consentimento prévio. E no fim, não colaborou com os nossos pedidos.

Fui lá comer com amigos, e alguém pediu um hambúrguer vegetariano. A empregada então disse-nos que não havia opções vegetarianas, com um tom frontal, sem dar explicações ou outras opções. Todos nós assumimos que não havia o substituto da carne, e só isso seria o suficiente para sairmos e ir procurar outro sítio.

Mas ao perguntar, percebemos que só não havia o pão vegetariano, e concordamos que podia ser outro. E pelos vistos, o pão substituto ia ser cobrado, algo que a empregada não referiu. Chega-se ao fim do jantar e notamos +2€ pelo pão na fatura.

Ao confrontar a empregada com este facto, ela explicou que eles não servem os hambúrgueres vegetarianos se não tiverem o pão, e por isso é que disse que não havia. E continuou que o outro pão se cobra, e que está na ementa, como se fosse óbvio. Mas ela não explicou isto na altura. E ao reforçarmos que só pedimos aquele pão porque não havia o outro, ela repetiu que o pão é cobrado.

Nós não nos importamos com os 2€ a mais, mas sim com a atitude rude e com a falta de explicações...
