Antiga Leitaria da Pampulha — Restaurant in Lisbon

This is a modest neighborhood bar that also serves lunch and dinner. It deserves five stars in its own category. Without being ambitious but modest, without being pretentious but down to earth, it fulfills its duty with great care to serve great food with great value. Located also in a very lovely street of Lisbon, especially towards Lapa side, it is a few hundreds meters way from Museo Arte Antiga, in Lapa. You may make a stopover here for a quick lunch and enjoy the museum later with full stomach. It is not a type of place to take your date but it is a high quality slow food place vs fast food with great offerings of fish, meat, vegetables, potatoes and a good “finale” with milk pudding or pastel de nata .
