Very Good and one of the best prices in Lisbon.
Casa Al Parma offers tasty and inexpensive italian inspired food while sitting on a quiet neighborhood in Alvalade.
They have inside sitting with several conjoined rooms that offer more privacy for the consumers on each room.
Outiside, there's a nice terrace with a tv (great to watch football in the summer) although the sitting is a bit tight.
The food is tasty and has good quality considering the very nice pricing.
Both the garlic bread (3,5€) and the Contadino pizza (9,5€) were very good and tasty.
The tiramisu wasn't the best i've had, but it was nonetheless a solid dessert and costs half the price of what's usually asked in other restaurants.
To finish i would like to compliment the staff for allowing me to stay for longer to watch the game, even after finishing the meal (they even insisted on it!).
Even after some of other costumers inquired after my table (i had already finished) they didn't rush me to pay and leave as it has become some common in many restaurants.
They aren't very good at communicating (rough english and basic portuguese) but are pretty nice and attentive. If you're not a tough costumer it shouldn't be a problem.
All in all, Casa Al Parma is an affordable restaurant to have some good italian food away from the busy center of the city.
The staff is a rare sight nowadays and they clearly take care of their costumers.
I may revisit them to try...
Read moreAt first, this place seemed alright so we gave it a shot. Here is a chronology of what happened next: The soup tasted like nothing, they forgot the salt. the bruschetta was just a awful-tasting piece pf bread with some tomatoes. the speed pf food coming made us feel like we should be out again asap. Then the main course came, my highlight... I ordered beef meat. They brought the meat and as soon as I cut into it, I realizedit was raw. Not undercooked, just raw. So I gave it back and ordered a new one. Until the new meat finally came, my gf was done with her food. This time the meat was totally overcooked and dry. All in all, it was by far the worst...
Read moreA very good italian restaurant, namely for pizzas, with a few alternatives which seem to be of indian (maybe nepalese) origin - the naan bread as a starter is a clearer give away, as well as the dough of the pizzas. Yet, what strikes the most of the absolutely stellar treatment of customers by very friendly staff. Somehow being located where it is and given the choice of furniture and so on, we could as well be on a beloved typical Lisbon "tasca". A very cool simple experience with friends or small groups, strongly recommend and it is not very...
