Taste Invaders — Restaurant in Lisbon

Despite the bad reviews on Google and a past bad experience I tried taking some friends for dinner there. Once again the staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. The food was mediocre and the atmosphere was even worse than I remember. There were people sitting on the outside of the restaurant extremely drunk and continuously got served beer even being clearly not in a clear state of mind. When we tried moving tables we were told that we couldn't since they were all reserved (there were about 6 empty tables and the restaurant closed in 1h). Afterwards we just left but I would like to also make it very clear that besides the bad experience at the restaurant, the staff is incredibly rude answering reviews and don't take any accountability to the bad service and experience that they give. This place is just amazing. It's not a big restaurant. The Hamburgers can only be described with delicious and very cute looking. If you're looking for this restaurant you probably also heard they're UFO shaped. Its very easy to order, you read a QR code with your phone, and tou can build your Burguer, take or replace ingredients, the lstter by using the comment box. But beware, there's so much you can fit in the UFO bun, if it doesnt fit they will tell you! The staff is super helpful and attemptive to the customers. Amazing service, amazing food! The portions are very good, and theres so many sauces to fit your taste. The only downside can be the parking, as there's not much available around. Its a busy part of the city. As a vegetarian who doesn’t really like mushroom, I was apprehensive about only having the mushroom burger to order, but I’d heard it was good so gave it a try and I’ve got to say it was probably the best burger I’ve ever had. The salad that I ordered instead of chips had an interesting dressing that I couldn’t define what it was exactly, but was good nonetheless. My husband had the pork belly burger and chips both of which he said were pretty darn good.

For drinks: The mango, pink pepper and ginger juice was refreshing and tasty as was the orange juice. Frothy coffee afterwards was nice too!

Staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive. Its a shame there isn’t a Taste Invaders closer to home but I will come back when next in Lisbon...
