Delhi Darbar — Restaurant in Lisbon

It was beyond worst service I have received at any Indian restaurant and had to file a complaint, they mistreated my husband and myself probably due to color of skin, and moved us next to the kitchen on hallway instead of main seating area where we were originally seated. Brought our food last and served everyone with main course who all came after us and kept coming after us. They served chicken tikka appetizer after main course was served and had us just waiting by kitchen watching everyone coming after us be served first. And the server in front of me rearranged and moved our ticket last and informed the kitchen to not cook our order. It was so terrible they didn’t even let me take water I paid for. For a bill of €50 this was totally unacceptable treatment and the server had the audacity to blame me for asking him to bring appetizers last I mean come on their is a reason why people order appetizers when they are hungry before main course, his apology just to not be reported was fake and phony. He has the audacity to mistreat people of color in this country should not...

I was lied to and charged twice for my food. Poor management. Poor customer service. Still haven’t received my refund.

Ate here in August 2021. When it came time to pay, the payment machine restarted as I paid with a MasterCard. I could see on my credit card account I had been charged. But the owner asked me to pay twice. The owner reassured me that he would refund me if I get charged twice. Well I got charged twice. This was in august 2021. It is now November 2021. I haven’t received a refund. I’ve asked management many many times. But now I don’t even get a reply back.

Delhi Darbar isn't only the best Indian restaurant I know in Lisbon, but also one of my favorite restaurants of all time.
