This is the second Pasta Non Basta, and I didnât like the first one honestly. This one however, I like allot. Sometimes you get that feeling of wanting a good, hot, homemade tasting, pasta, like Ă bolognese or carbonara, and this is one of the best places to get it. It might not be fancy or special, but it fills both my stomach and my soul, and thatâs all that matters. Everything is good, entrees, pastas, pizzas, and deserts. And the space is very nice, small and cozy and with a little outdoor space, with ambient music.
The one thing I didnât like was the excessive amount of noise there was, I had trouble speaking with my wife across the table, and thatâs terrible for a restaurant, if I want to not talk to people around me Iâll go to a club. The music was too loud which made everyone speak louder. Donât know if itâs supposed to be a trendy specification, like going to an H&M store, but I would prefer some more tranquility...
Read moreIt is my boyfriend and my last night in lisbon, Portugal so we are staying at a hotel near the airport since we have an early flight. We were browsing Uber eats and stumbled upon this restaurant as the pictures of each food item looked scrumptious.
We ordered the fettuccine dello chef, lasagna and pizza rustica.
Pros: Order came super fast and that was about it. Everything after that went downhill and turned out to be a major disappointment.
Cons: the pizza bread tasted like cardboard, the pizza was not cut, and the mushrooms were not cooked as shown in the Uber eats image. The fettuccine with shrimp lacked flavor and some of the shrimp werenât deveined. Lastly, the lasagna texture was not consistent and was also bland.
To summarize, we wish we ended up getting McDonaldâs down the...
Read moreThis is one of the very few Italian places I used to go, since we share the same neighborhood. Unfortunately, not a nice option anymore. Pasta comes in a weird way, cut in small pieces. So if you are looking for traditional long spaghetti, forget it. My first time ordering a lasagna à bolonhesa was a real flop. The sauce was far from the traditional one. Lacked a good combination of meat and sauce. Zero flavor. I tried to add some salt and pepper with no success. Tasted like a fast food. Very frustrating. Everyone seemed to be worried enough to get as much people possible seated, but forgot to take care of the quality. It needs to come closer to a real Italian way of offering food. I pains me to not recommend the...
