Well, this is an addition to my first review below. I went back to Macau Dim Sum and was not disappointed the second time either. I had the hot and sour soup again, still delicious and spicy just right. Then i ordered roast duck (large portion.) I ate half and took the rest home as planned. The duck was outstanding and very meaty and moist. Excellent!!. Now the review from my first visit:
I will admit that I love dim sum and Chinese food, having spent time in Hong Kong and Singapore. This restaurant did not disappoint me. I started with the hot and sour soup which was excellent. It was thick with mushrooms and bits of shrimp plus the usual components. Then I had a couple of different steamed dumplings. They were perfect, flavorful and soft. I also had an order of chicken feet, one of my favorites. I hardly had any appetite left for my main dish, Kung Pao chicken. Spicy hot and great flavors. I tasted some and took the rest back to my apartment.
I highly recommend this place to those who enjoy good...
Read moreI am a huge dim sum fan and they did not disappoint. While the dining room isn’t extravagant it’s exactly what I hope for in a good dim sum restaurant. Lots of people enjoying themselves. I do miss the carts!
Food was delicious. I got the soup dumplings which were not the best I’d ever had with little soup and a slightly thick wrapper but tasted great (€4.50). With that I tried the scallop (€5.95) that was quite delicious, especially with a little chili oil. And then a dim sum sampler from the menu, not the lunch special. I can’t recall the price but I think less than the scallop. It was fabulous and a lovely way to try dim sum favorites such a sui mai and har gow.
They do offer a lunch special and a set meal. Looks like a good deal but I like to pick for myself. I’ll be back next time I’m in Lisbon...
Read moreAuthentic Cantonese dim sum on par with Cantonese restaurants in Manhattan NY or even Hong Kong to some degree. I was lucky enough to eat dim sum growing up and I can say this is some of the best I've had in Europe. We enjoyed about 10-15 different items on the dim sum menu, everything delicious, high quality. The complimentary sauces are also very good and not diluted with water. We dined in around 2pm, service was prompt and courteous. The proper way to eat dim sum is dining in and sharing plates with friends and family. Be sure to tip well. As for the customers with screaming children running around and breaking dinnerware, stop embarrassing yourself and go elsewhere. I...
