It's an observation deck, way above Lisbon as this tall building (in Lisbon standards) sits on a high hill already. In a good day one can see much of the meteopolitan area of Lisbon: Serra da Luz to the North, Arrábida to the South, the Tagus river mouth to the West... It is also unique in that it looks at Lisbon from an unusual west side perspective, where few as tall a building exist.

Access isn't free. Tickets are bought at the information counter on the ground floor (5€), and access to the lifts is on the first floor, up the escalators, at the end of a narrow long corridor, but easy enough to find.

It is not wheelchair accessible and there is a flight of stairs to reach to viewing deck.

The view is spectacular but that's it. There is nothing but the view, some binoculars (coin actioned), marble floor and glass railings. No benches, nor a coffee service, nor souvenir shop. Which can be relaxing in a way, and it guarantees there aren't...

I wanted to share what happened to us on Tuesday July the 15th, 8pm. A member of our family living near Sintra booked 6 tickets for the panoramic view as a surprise for us. We were in Lisboa for only 2 days and we went especially at the shopping center for this 360 expérience. Once arrived after nearly an hour with the bus from the center of the city, we were told there was a private event on the rooftop with no possibility for us to go futher. No forward notice and we were just told tonzsk for a refund !!! How highly unprofessionnal. And no way to speak to a person responsible of the site, they leave at 6pm. A refund plus a compensation would be fair, don't you...

Well, it would have been nice if the lady at the ticket office would have informed us properly or helped us in any way. Ended up paying 11 euros (one adult, two kids) for nothing since we stopped to grab a bite before going to the entrance, bought the tickets at 11am and entrance closed at 12:25, it was not written on the tickets and no one advised us to go to the entrance right away. When I went back to the ticket office, the girl said nothing could be done, no replacement for later tickets, no refund, no nothing (and I paid cash, no card transaction). Simply no customer...

The Amoreiras 360º Panoramic View is worth checking out if you want to see Lisbon from above. You get a full view of the city, from the Tagus River to the bridges and all the colorful rooftops. It’s not as crowded as some of the other viewpoints, which makes it a nice spot to take your time and enjoy. The entrance is through the shopping center, so it’s easy to grab a coffee or a snack before or after. The price is fair for the experience, and the staff were helpful. A great way to get a sense of the city’s layout and take some beautiful photos.
