Read moreAfter arriving we were seated to a lovely seat by the kitchen, it was 15 minutes later that we were acknowledged by a member of staff to take our drinks order after no joy trying to gain their attention. The margarita was delicious while I waited for my also delicious cod bites. The waiter was Young man (Bruno as we asked to ensure he was praised) who briefly explained his apologies that he was only new. If it wasn’t for him the whole restaurant wouldn’t have gotten their food or there would not have been a dirty dish taken from a table. It was on point - possibly the best I've had. It's a simple to prepare dish, but getting it right is sometimes a challenge. The chef at Obica got it right. The staff at the restaurant were friendly and knowledgeable about the authentic Italian fare, and were happy to make suggestions when we inquired about various plates. Highly recommend this unpretentious but elegant neighborhood restaurant- only wish we had come across it earlier on our Lisbon stay. I'll be dreaming about that cacao e...
