Be cautious for being scammed. This company manages over 50 apartments—some may look stylish with art and quality furniture, but not all meet that standard. The one we received did not match the Booking.com listing: dated, smelly. Only afterwards we noticed a few other reviews with similar experiences.
After we raised the issue, the company showed a different side: no proper communication, no compensation while we didn’t stay at the place—but they did update the listing and marked us as a no-show. That says a lot.
The on-site staff was friendly, but management seems more focused on protecting themselves than providing a reliable guest experience. Very disappointing overall.
UPDATE after property response: Thank you for the reply. However, it confirms our key concern: this company prioritizes process over guest experience.
Not all apartments “meet the same standard”—ours was clearly below: outdated, attic-level, smelly, and far from the clean, art-filled, hotel-like apartment shown in the listing. A few other reviews mention similar issues. Even your ground staff confirmed this. If your listing is only “illustrative,” that should be clearly stated upfront to avoid misleading guests.
Of course, you refunded the tourist tax and deposit—that’s a legal requirement, not goodwill. Marking us as a no-show is not at all mandatory under Portuguese law nor SEF reporting, and only made it harder to seek proper resolution. The 15% compensation was issued by Booking.com, not by you, and does again not at all reflect fair goodwill given the situation. We are now forced to continue with...
Read moreThe apartments themselves were beautiful — stylish, clean, and in a great location — but unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing and left me feeling unsettled.
As a solo female traveler, I was told a "serviceman" would be entering the apartment, but it turned out to be a real estate inspection. I had not consented to this, and it was never clearly communicated. This serious breach of privacy made me question whether anyone had also entered my room while I wasn’t there, which was extremely unsettling.
There was also a constant dripping sound from a leak that made it nearly impossible to sleep. I reported the issue on my first day, only to later find out that the property was already aware of it from a previous guest — who was offered a room change. Despite this, I was not moved or provided any alternative.
I was promised a voucher as compensation, but it was never sent. Worse still, I’ve had no response at all from the property since, despite multiple follow-ups.
While the apartment is lovely, the lack of transparency, the disregard for guest privacy and comfort, and the complete absence of communication made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend staying here if you value your peace of mind or expect basic...
Read moreStayed for weekend, location is okay, but would NOT recommend. Deposit was not returned due to an alleged smoking violation which did NOT take place. Upon calling the week after staying to ask when the deposit would be returned, we were told the money is coming and everything is fine and there wasn't any issues. It was only after getting in touch by email asking about the deposit that we were finally informed of the supposed violation, a full 11 days after leaving (so we have no way of corroborating what they say since we've left the country) ... we were told there was 'documented evidence', but we were never provided it and ignored. Stay at your own risk!
UPDATE ADDRESSING REPLY:
Claims made in reply are false, picture were never provided and all requests to see them were ignored. The claim that “Your initial phone inquiry occurred before the final cleaning report had been reviewed” is also false. In their email reply to me, they said “The case was reported by our staff on March 13th at 12:21PM.” We checked out at 11am on April 13th, and my phone call to them was on the 15th of April - see...
