VERY BAD CHOICE FOR LUNCH, WITH A BADLY INTENTED OWNER. (Se tivesse menos classificação para dar, menos daria a este restaurante ao seu serviço e à sua comida).

ENG Very Bad Service and very bad intentions from the owner after he was called to the table and was force by us to acknowledge that one hour waiting for a plate that came mistaken was already bad, but the worst was yet to come when the second requested we had to make to replace the first plate, came completely unbeatable, half of the meat was dry/ burned and the fried chips were unfried, this made us waiy for another 15 minutes for the chips while the meat was left in the table.. So a complet mess of service and quality.. When ask again to come to the table the owner deliberately didn't come, only when I was compelled to go inside the restaurant and ask to talk to him then he came to table, agreed with us and ask sorry and said he understood, and he didn't want us to pay nothing for the food.. We still had the bear and the fried chips along with a bit of the eatable meat, so we didn't starve hungry after 2 hour almost of waiting. When we ask for th bill I told the owner we wanted to pay for the drinks and the chips, and that we didn't felt good to not pay for anything as he himself had told us when he was asked to the table, but for our surprise he said "YOU will pay for the full plate cause you had eaten some of the meat" whichme and my girlfriend kindly refuse and said that he was being very uncorrected and not true to his word, and so we left the restaurant with the intention of calling the police cause they were trying to force to pay for this pour and bad service, and calling us names instead of being true to their word when they came to the table agreed to us.. So this owner and their staff are very bad intention people trying to make profits out of tourism I guess and out of our patience and goodwill. Do Not Go there! Worst service in Lisbon. Walked in mid afternoon on Easter Sunday. Doors were open and the open sign was on the door but we were given very dirty looks when we walked in. Waitress came over holding the menu but did not give it to us. She said there were only 2 dishes available - we decided to order and when she went behind the counter, a man who I assumed was the “chef” started shouting and swearing at her saying “how dare them come for food at this time?” The doors were open and the open sign was hanging on the door. I felt so uncomfortable I just cancelled my order and left. The waitress, awkwardly insisted we stayed for the meal. They had served us some bread and olives and even had the nerve to charge us for that! After reading the reviews, I’m glad I didn’t eat at this place. I live nearby and I’ll make sure nobody I know ever goes to this dump. AVOID...
