Fresh é Fixe — Restaurant in Lisbon

Five stars firstly for truly great service, and secondly, for the great food. The restaurant had only one family there, so we were a bit hesitant to go in but very glad we did. The owner spent 10-15 minutes walking us through the menu and telling about each item. As an American, my pallet prefers saltier cuisines and this place nailed it. The owner speaks English well and is very welcoming.

I have been traveling for the last month in Europe from Tbilisi - Berlin - Paris - this has been my favorite restaurant so far. It is not a fancy place, but a more casual and chill atmosphere.

If you are looking for fancy, this is not the place. We had the recommended cheeses (3 of them) and ribs for two. It was quite a lot of food with two sides of potatoes and bread. Sauces are homemade (Southern-ish American style e.g. South Caroline BBQ sauce: molasses, apple juice, honey, tomato paste, etc..). He has a charcoal grill and that flavor is something I have been missing from American food.

I overheard the table next to ours enjoying a bottle of wine. If you are looking for a relaxed place to eat and maybe have a drink or two, this is a great place to stop. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but it was a treat for us. The meal is more hearty, so if that's what you're looking for i.e. being full and walking away with a smile, this place is the spot. This place is wooow! This was the best Veggie Burger I ever had, and I tried many. The prices are unbelievable fair for the quality of food and all the love that is in it. Also the Smoothie I had was full of flavour and colour only the best ingredients. They even went to the store for us just to make one smoothie were they were missing ginger for and the nicest and coolest staff ever, very family like and welcoming. I would give 10 stars if I could. We came here for a quick lunch last week and the food and service were great. Really nice spot, food was really fresh, the drinks were amazing, and the hosts were really friendly. Highlight was asking for a bloody mary and being given a freshly made blend of proper ingredients, like no bloody mary I've ever had before but it was spectacular.
