DuMont Lisbon Guesthouse — Hotel in Lisbon

I was super surprised by the good reviews. I would not recommend this place because:

dirty toilet (see the pictures) dirty room (see the videos): I booked this room only to get 5 hours sleep before going the airport. I could not manage to fall sleep as the bed was very uncomfortable and also I kept sneezing and having allergic reaction. shorty after I realized that the room is super dusty. the room itself is so dark that one might not notice how how dirty the room is at the begging. if you have allergy to dust avoid this place! I went to airport in the middle of night and ended up around 100 euro for that dirty room. very complicated check-in not receiving the email with codes to enter the room and building. however I have received several emails about paying 2...

Booked for my first visit in Lisbon. The pictures looked good. Lux. With a balcony. Is the size of a closet. Hardly can bypass the bed. Pictures made me believe that it is some kind of studio. Upon arrival, when I told that I'm not happy and would like a refund and will look for another place, the young man ( at least half my age ) started to act rude, didn't gave me a minute to get on app and look for another hotel, instead told me that I'm the rude one and he will call the police. At the end he agreed that they will give me a refund trough booking.com , but they refused. So, if you're looking for an upgraded hostel with a bad attitude, go ahead. For the rest of you - there are plenty of nice hotels in Lisbon with nice and friendly people .||For this one - zero points....

It was the worst Portugal night. Overpriced, we booked it in air bnb ,thought it was a big apartment for 4 people for around 135!!!!€ the bed and sofa were 10cm from each other, there’s no air in the room or air conditioning The doors let the light and sound through as if they were open, no one of us could sleep It is like a teenager camping ((( We are right now waking up with a headache and anger each of us! It doesn’t matter how decorated everything is if you don’t have basic conditions. Haven’t had this bad hospitality...
