Serra da Estrela — Restaurant in Lisbon

Bad Food and Mediocre Service. I went with my wife and two boys to this restaurant after we were done with the mall hoping to eat nice beef. After we were seated they served Ham and some kind of fried pies and bread which we didn't order so we thought it is part of the cover. The ham was ok but the pies were disgusting. we then ordered 2 grilled tenderloins and Sirilion with chesese sauce. We were all served the same cut of meat so it wasn't as we ordered and the meat wasn't grilled but fried. Starving after a long day we just ate the hard to chew meat. All the time waiters where hovering over our heads as they were closing in 45 minutes and thier impatience was very clear and annoying. We ordered the bill and to our surprise the disgusting pies and the four pieces of ham they served at the beginning were counted and they were almost double the price of...

Bitoque com molho (sabor enjoativo). Arroz claramente foi apenas aquecido. Tem vinhos nas prateleiras das paredes pelo que a meio da refeição a pessoa tem que se desviar quando alguém pede vinho. Cuidado com os cotovelos ao tirar os casacos.

Bad simple steak with chips (sickening flavor). Rice was only heated and clearly pre-cooked. It has wines in the side boards so you'll have to move in the middle of your meal every time some one orders a drink. Careful with your elbows taking your coat off.

Em toda a minha vida nunca vi um leite creme ser servido espalhado num prato.

The traditional desert was plated like I had never seen in my life as a Portuguese. And it was an absolute crap. Represents very poorly the Portuguese dessert "Leite Creme"

Estava péssimo e tinha granelos de farinha que se sentiam ao comer. Mandei ir para trás, ao que me responderam que era o primeiro cliente que o fazia. O dono insistiu comigo que o meu paladar é que não era refinado e que o prato onde vem não afecta o sabor sem querer saber das restantes críticas que fizera. "Assim nem lhe consigo dar outra sugestão" como se eu fosse querer.

Still on the terrible dessert: it had little grains of flour that were completely noticeable and even chewable. I sent it back and the owner told me I was the first client to do so. The owner insisted that my palate was not refined enough and that the way to plate food doesn't change the flavour disregarding the critiques I had done previously. "This way I can't even suggest you any other dessert" he told me as if I would want any.

Óptima localização. Suspeito ser a única razão que ainda atrai clientes. O Colombo perde credibilidade como um todo em ter este sítio péssimo para se comer. A ASAE talvez tenha aqui algumas surpresas.

Very good location. I suspect it is the only reason they still make an income. The shopping center as a whole loses in credibility for having such a terrible place to eat. The portuguese quality control might find unpleasant surprises in this Kitchen...

Experimentei este restaurante que fica situado na zona de restauração do Shopping Colombo. Não gostei.

O design chamou-me à atenção e o nome levou-me a pensar que seria bem servido.

Ao entrar sugeriram-me um dos lugares no limite do restaurante junto ao corredor de circulação dos transeuntes do Shopping. Não aceitei e acabei por escolher um lugar mais reservado. Perguntei pela casa de banho e fiquei a saber que o estabelecimento não tinha um e que o mais próximo ficava um pouco afastado. Como estava acompanhado acabei por descartar essa possibilidade.

Depois de escolhermos o que comer aguardamos um pouco ao sabor de uma sinfonia peculiar: alguém na cozinha esfregava as panelas com tamanho empenho os resíduos que devem ter ficado agarrados numa panela. Comecei a imaginar que tipo de comida serviriam.....

Daí até ter pesquisado no Google Maps foi um instante e fiquei mal impressionado e arrependido de não ter consultado os comentários antes.

A sopa estava boa, mas as pataniscas de polvo estavam muito más. Fiquei com a impressão que fosse um dos pratos que mais saía e pedi. A minha parceira disse-me que o arroz estava aldrabado. Sem sabor. Não foi cozido com o polvo e por isso não ganhou sabor. Coze-se arroz à parte e depois adiciona-se o resto para despachar.

Ao nosso lado estava um casal que pedira bitoque. Mal tocaram. Pediram a conta e foram embora.

Se calhar devia ter feito o mesmo porque a comida caiu-me mal. Fiquei sem vontade de comer mais.

O espaço não é mau e tem muito potencial, mas precisam de melhorar um pouco o atendimento e melhorar...
