Pizza Pasta Fantasia — Restaurant in Loulé

I spotted this place earlier in the day when I went to the supermarket, so we thought we would head down with the kids in the evening.

We under estimated how popular the place was going to be, every table was occupied or reserved and the first question we encountered was had we pre-booked.

We hadn’t but this wasn’t an issue, they made a table up for us.

Service was excellent and order taken quickly with the kids prioritised. Our 4 year old and 6 month old loved the bolognaise, it went down a treat.

I had the Pesto Pasta which was deliciously

We had a bottle of Mateus between us and the whole bill was just over €50 which is excellent for the area.

Would highly recommend but remember...

Suitable for families if you’re wanting a casual meal, although can get busy and very slow service in the evening which lowers the experience. The food is as described on the menu; nothing better, but not worse than expected. For example tomato and basil pasta really is just pasta, the tomatoes, and basil (which actually they did forget at first) and not any other flavouring or seasoning. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating - indoor is less busy but not that well air...

We were at the pinetrees stables for a few days and the owner advised us to grab a bite here if we were into pizza or lasagna. We tried the vegetarian lasagna and the siciliana pizza the first time and it tasted so great that we came back a second time for two more pizzas. However, the second time round my pizza could have been baked a few minutes longer. The crust was nice but the bodem in the middle was a bit sloppy. Despite that it tasted...
