PURE — Restaurant in Loulé

It is rare to find a good Service in Portugal. Honestly, I was expecting a high quality service from such a beautify located place, but unfortunately the staff doesn't know how to treat the client. We had 20 min drive, especially for healthy vegan food, as its hard to find in Algarve on the 1st of January. We asked for 3 fresh squised juices and some food. Two of juices had a disgusting taste. We asked to change this 2 and waiter immediately answered "No!" I got upset with such an answer and even wanted to keep the juice and pay for it but after I realised that its not right to buy something I will not drink, so we kindly asked to change it again. The answer was "We will change it, but you will have to pay for it anyways!" Second cold unsympathetic answer. We asked again and explained that it really doesn't taste good, maybe they can make another one, maybe it was a machine ...that they can try it and see how waters it is, but the waitress started to argue with us, another one came and also were rude. We just got up and left, leaving the juices on the table for them to drink. Maybe because we were wearing a sport clothes and not looking fancy enough for this place!? This is a very nice establishment with a very modern interior and friendly staff. We felt rather uncomfortable visiting with our toddler and there wasn't anything suitable for her to eat on the menu (a kids menu would have been great to see).

We all had wraps, my husband had soup and an acai bowl too. The presentation was lovely but the food was very bland and I didn't enjoy my coronation chicken wrap. The chicken wrap was supposed to include a rainbow slaw but was just chicken and bread basically-no sauce. Daughter didn't enjoy hers.

I would say if you are super health-conscious and like bland food then this might be your cup of tea. For what is included in some of the meals, this is over priced... and I live in London!

The coffee and cakes were my highlight, as well as the lovely lady who did her best to help us nab an indoor table during less than pleasant...

Really poor customer service

Came in to pick up a takeaway salad and was met with rudeness from the start. No greeting, no courtesy, and when we asked what was included in the deal, the staff member was snappy and unhelpful.

When we questioned extra charges for packaging and cutlery, she snatched the receipt and said, “Yeah, we charge for everything,” with a sarcastic smile. When we asked if everything was ok and why she was being rude, she laughed and mocked us to her colleagues as we left.

We’ve been to Pure many times before and had great experiences. We understand people can have a bad day, but no customer should be treated with such disrespect. Very...
